I didn’t get anywhere NEAR as much as I wanted done tonight. My internet went out, and I spent an hour dealing with tech support. Thankfully, I got a nice guy from Tennessee instead of somebody from another country. We got the problem resolved but it blew whatever concentration I had going, which was, admittedly, not a lot. I started a totally new scene (no basis in the previous version), and I’ve been struggling with it, even though I know exactly what happens. I’m not quite back where I can clearly see things, and I had a hard time deciding where and how to begin this scene. I suspect I’ll revise this portion tomorrow.
I did get some good brainstorming done with Pot on some of her Haven Chronicles stuff. We named a couple of characters who were heretofor referred to as “computer girl” and “stasis guy”.
I made some changes to the Crit Partner Match site today. We decided that it made more sense to have forums centered around the type of crit partner people wanted rather than by genre. People can do all their genre stuff in groups. I also managed to rearrange the home page so that those forums are the very first thing you see. Hopefully that will clarify some stuff for people. We’re up to 89 members.
