The awesomeness of my crit partner cannot be overstated. Just sayin’. I came home early today (yay for last day of formal work until January, even though I’ll be busting my fanny writing lectures the next three weeks) to find a brand, spanking new copy of Debra Dixon’s Goal, Motivation & Conflict: The Building Blocks of Good Fiction. This was the number one craft book on my list, as GMC is exactly the thing I want to work on in 2009. Merry Christmas to me indeed! Pot, clever woman, found Gryphon Books For Writers, where you can purchase rare, used, and out of print books. Apparently this one is in high demand as it’s right there on the front page of the site. Or it could be because they’re the publisher 
. In any event, major squee and excitement. I can’t wait to dive in.
