Happy Mother’s Day! I’ve been off visiting my mommy, so no serious post tonight.
My tour stop for the day is at the awesome Patti O’Shea’s blog. I’m talking about establishing character rapport.
It’s been a long week, with lots going on, lots of demands on my time. I had a little meltdown when I got home to our pig sty. I do this from time to time, whenever I come back from being out of town to a dirty house. I go into this total furious, anxiety ridden cleaning spree, wherein things often get broken because I’m too freaking tired and really OUGHT to sit down but don’t because I can’t handle the mess one more minute without screaming. The house is now clean, and I’m even more exhausted, but closer to sane.
On the upshot, I found a new rug and cutting board for my kitchen that suddenly tied in EVERYTHING so that it looks PERFECT. Yay. I also got new brushed nickle shower curtain hooks, which are way better than the old plastic crappy ones they were replacing. I also brought home another bookcase, donated by my mom. NO FREAKING CLUE where it’s going to live, but who can turn down a bookcase?
Next week is going to be crazy busy too, but I seriously hope I’ll be able to get some things OFF MY PLATE. Like finishing up the last of the blog posts for the tour. By the time I’m done with this, I think I will have written more words in promotion for the tour than are contained in the whole blasted book!
