Argentinean Pork Chops

In this month’s Cooking Light magazine, there was a whole string of pork recipes.  There was one for a pork tenderloin that sounded divine.  All I had around were some butterfly pork chops, so I adapted it for that.  And it was DELICIOUS.

Ingredients:

  • 2 butterfly cut pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients up in a plastic bag and squish around until the pork is well coated.
  2. Allow it to marinate for 1-2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to 350 degrees.
  4. Grill each chop approximately 10 minutes a side until you have some nice grill marks.
