Sunday Summary

So this is going to be pretty short and sweet since I’m on my phone. Not a lot to report since Wednesday’s check in. I haven’t written. Wednesday’s writing block was absorbed by a phone call. Thursday’s by prep for the trip I’m now on. I haven’t pulled out my laptop since I’ve been here. But it’s a good trip and it’s a very rare thing that I almost totally unplug (other than checking email and moderating stuff from my phone).

On the long drive up I listened to The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor, which I enjoyed. A really fun and different take on Alice in Wonderland. I will have to pick up the other two just to see how things turn out with the love interest. I also listened to Dream Dark, the Caster Chronicles short story/novella by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. Then I started L.J. Smith’s Night of the Solstice, which I read as a kid but don’t remember at all. I’ll finish that on the way home and start the next Psy-Changeling novel.

Hope everybody had a good productive week and I will be back in the saddle once I get home on Tuesday.

Love Looking Glass Wars. There’s also a companion dark comic book following the Hatter! It’s great!

  2. Unplugging for a few days can do you a world of good. Hope you have a great/safe trip and a productive week ahead. Good luck! :)
