Sunday Summary and #ROW80 Check-In

  1. I have officially lost my mind.  I went running this morning.  On purpose.  2.25 miles, of which 1 was actually run.  Okay, jogged.  I haven’t really don’t this in a long time.  Still.  I’m contemplating doing this a few times a week on my non weight-lifting days, just to shake it up.
  2. It’s been a pretty good writing week since I got home.  Thursday: 661, Friday: 793, Saturday: 623, Sunday: 612 (so far).  I worked out some details on Friday for DOTH that unlocked some other stuff in my brain.  And I actually had an idea for a really important scene while I was running this morning.  I also had another old project rear up and wave this morning, so I’m going to spend a little time this afternoon sketching out some of that in a blueprint.  It was one that never got beyond concept before, so kind of nice to see those characters haven’t been lazy while I was working on other stuff.
  3. This weekend has been all about playing catch up.  Did the grocery shopping, lots of cooking (vegetarian lasagna in individual portions, mexican meatballs, banana bread), cleaning, laundry, and general chilling.  Hubs and I rewatched Inkheart, Cowboys and Aliens, and Super 8 yesterday.  It was nice to have a low key weekend.   I’m also finishing up Vicki Keire’s latest release, World Burn Through, which I’ll be reviewing later on.

One Response to Sunday Summary and #ROW80 Check-In

  1. Don’t you love those low key weekends? Although your lowkey sounds like you’re still getting quite a bit done. Congrats on your writing goals. I’ve noticed my characters work things out behind the scenes while I’m busy doing something else…like you while you went running. It sounds as if things are going well for you! Cheers!
