Tuesday Smattering

I am up to my eyeballs in proofing a grant today, and my brain is stuck in plotting mode (to the point that I totally forgot to drop off the thing my husband needed at work and wound up in my parking space at MY job before I even realized it), so I am leaving you with other people’s awesome today.

First up, the fantabulous cover reveal of Claire Legrand’s debut The Cavendish Home For Boys and Girls is up at The Story Siren.  It is gorgemous and perfect and so fits the creepy tone for this book.  Releasing in August and a must read.  Here, go add it to your Goodreads.  Go ahead.  Do it.  :gives you side eye:

Second, the delightfully profane and irreverent Chuck Wendig offers up 25 Ways to Unfuck Your Story.  I believe we can all use this.

Julie Glover has a nice post on what she learned from Buffy.  Since I totally think we all need a WWBD (What Would Buffy Do?) bracelet, this is a must read.

Ingrid Schaffenburg has a great post about love.

And for more awesome roundups, check out Blog Treasures from Gene Lempp and Roni Loren’s best writing links of the week.
