Well, I have to say I haven’t written a thing for the last week. Things weren’t going well on the writing front with anything I was picking up in the wake of Monster Grant. And then I was out of town taking a much needed vacation (which was awesome), during which I had a nice kernel of another snort Mirus novel from the Clementine crew pop into my brain. And since we got back, family has been in town, we had hubby’s grandmother’s birthday, a puppy rescue…
Today will be the first day I’ve had an opportunity to even think about writing something.
We started with the allergen free diet this morning. First lesson learned: plain coconut milk is not an acceptable alternative to half and half in my tea. Guess I’ll try the rice milk tomorrow, but I don’t have high hopes. It tastes fine to just drink, but it’s not creamy enough…
It’s gonna be a LOOOOONG two weeks.

Good luck with your writing and your allergen-free diet. I’m not sure I could do it! Have a great day, Kait. 🙂
I hope you find an acceptable cream alternative soon, and also the troublesome allergen.
There are special rewards from saving critters who need saving. I tell myself this every time the crazy little wild child cat that the found in the woods wreaks havoc. She could fit in the palm of my hand, and she was just a tiny little scrap of fluff and bones – with fleas.
I see that you’ve had even more canine visitors…you must have an invisible canine welcome mat at your place!
When you DO get a chance to write, maybe you need a dog in the story? 🙂
