End #ROW80 Round 4

Okay technically it ends tomorrow, but that’s Christmas and I know perfectly well I won’t be blogging or writing or anything else, so I’m gonna go ahead and wind things up now.

So, what were my goals for Round 4?

  1. Write 25 out of 30 days.  Well, that one happened in October (29 out of 31 days).  I managed 19 in November (when I finished the book) and 16 this month.  I always slow down when I’m between projects, so a lot of the words from November and December were plotting.  Plus I’ve had a cold for the last week, not to mention all the holiday hoopla, so I’m pleased enough.
  2. Finish and release To Get Me To You.  Done.  This released over Thanksgiving.
  3. Finish plotting whatever my next project is.  I did that and have already started on my next Wishful novella, She’s Got A Way.  I had grand plans of finishing it NaNo style this month, but that absolutely hasn’t happened.  Sickness.  Holiday gatherings.  Work stuff.  It is what it is.
  4. Write and release Once Upon A Setup.  I wound up not doing this.  Just wasn’t feeling it.

I’ve been looking over what I accomplished for the year and making some plans for what I want to accomplish next year, but I’ll talk about those in a later post.  Right now, it’s Christmas Eve and we’re watching The Grinch!

  1. “You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch….”

The last week of the year is always my “blow everything off” week. Figure, any big project, you’re really not going to work on it until January anyway… get some rest and get healthy and we’ll see you back here next month. Merry Christmas!
