Sunday Summary

  1. Well I’m enjoying a rare quiet day alone.  Poor hubby had to work (and we JUST shot a wedding yesterday), so I’m taking advantage.  Laundry’s done, and I’ve got fresh hamburger buns and sandwich bread cooling, corn cobs turning into corn stock for a corn chowder I’m making for my lunches this week, and I just scarfed down some Dorito flavored kale chips (hit it with a little olive oil, sea salt, paprika, cayenne, and after baking, a liberal sprinkle of nacho flavored popcorn seasoning), while watching some Food Network before diving back into revisions.
  2. I officially made it through the midpoint this morning.  I still have a nagging sense that there’s something missing from this particular scene, but my CPs will let me know.  Diving in to the next chapter on the list, which is mostly a rewrite to accommodate the changes I made in the first half.  So this day was well timed, as I need quiet and lack of distractions to THINK.
  3. Tomorrow I start the Beautiful Badass program whole hog.  I wound up doing the time crunch series of workouts last week due to various interruptions and I definitely felt THAT, so this should be interesting.  Since I’ll be doing more serious lifting than I have in a while, I’ll be amping up the protein to go along with it.  To that end, I’m devising a nice veggie loaded mexi-style breakfast bake with black beans, poblano peppers, onions, mushrooms, some cheese, and eggs.  We’ll see how that turns out.
  4. Been doing some housekeeping for the next round of ROW80 today as well.  It’s coming up a week from tomorrow.  I need to be thinking about my goals for next round.  But I’ll figure it out..
  5. I need to fix myself another snack before diving in to this next round of revisions.

  1. I’m looking forward to the next round as well. I hope to have some strategies in place to see me through. 🙂

Well done on the revision progress!
