Short and sweet tonight as we’re having a blast from the past and watching Sister Act 2.
I’ve been plowing through last pass revisions after getting feedback on the second draft of Riven from both the Hammer and the Gobsmacker. One new scene to write tomorrow, then proofing the last quarter, then DONE.
I consider it a positive sign that even in this third pass, I haven’t reached the OH DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP point. I can SEE it getting better with every pass. And that’s a great thing.
In other news, we went to see Riddick last night. If you are a dog lover, stay away. That’s all I’m saying.

Ah… Riddick. I liked first one I saw, but I have a feeling I’ll want to pass given your recommendation. (Not that the Riddick storyline was ever that “nice” to anyone or anything…)
YAY! for the visible progress on Riven. It’s a pretty heady feeling when things keep getting better and better without getting the “i’ve been working on this so much” blahs.
