Working on the opening scene with my heroine tonight. I’ve struggled a lot with it–one of those where I know what is actually happening, but making it come across the way I want/need it to hasn’t been easy. My previous attempt skirted on purple prose and left my heroine as not very likeable. I think I’ve got a better handle on it now (though I’ve got a ways to go to finish it). Hubby is working until 7 tomorrow night, so I’m hoping to finish it up before then.
