Late Sunday Summary and #ROW80 Update

It’s Labor Day.  Which means a holiday for me.  Poor hubby had to work (no rest for emergency services), so it’s just me and the pups.  I had grand notions of doing a crapton of work today–a big chunk of revisions or a couple of scenes in Be Careful.  And instead I think I’m going to be a complete and total slug.

I am so rarely ever a total slug unless I’m sick.

I’ve got 3 episodes of Hell on Wheels to watch.  After that, I might read.  Or do some plotting.

Last week I’d added to my list of goals that I would finish draft one of Be Careful, but last week it expanded.  I know, you’re shocked.  But anyway, it’s going to be 10-15k longer than I originally planned.  It’ll be finished when it’s finished.  I got a little over 5k last week and a fair amount of plotting.  Should be moving forward past the midpoint this week as I do finish those last revisions on Riven.

I finished August just shy of 23k words, plus an unknown amount in line edits earlier in the month.  It’s been a really productive year, with way more days writing than not.  I’m really pleased about that.

Okay, yeah, I don’t have a lot of new or interesting information to share.  Gonna go watch some Cullen Bohannon.
