Til Death: 323 (lousy numbers and lousy words)

Bleh. I had a “retreat” for work today, which was nothing more than a really really long glorified staff meeting. So I didn’t get anything written during the day or at lunch, and then when I came home I got to fight with our wireless network which kept going off because I finally managed to kill the spare USB wireless card I was using in the meantime (whoever thought having a stick of anything hanging out of a laptop was an idiot), so I wound up heading to Walmart to buy a new router (which we needed anyway because our other one wasn’t securable and which we needed NOW because my class starts on MONDAY and I can’t finish updating it without the freaking internet darn it). Well of COURSE the “easy install” didn’t work. We wound up being on hold for tech support for an hour. Although I will say that when I finally GOT someone, the woman I spoke with was very polite and knowledgeable and had me up and running in fifteen or twenty minutes, so thank you Linksys.
Anyway, I just wasn’t ON today. I couldn’t get my head wrapped around any of my scenes. I couldn’t even focus to read anything. I think it was just an off day. Anyway, it’s time for bed.
