Hubs is home from the hospital with a brand new nail and two screws in his leg. His leg is making quite a bit of protest that the heavy doses of IV painkillers (which are wearing off) and the Percocet aren’t making much of a dent in. So he’s in a lot of pain and is still pretty incoherent. Keeps passing out in the middle of stuff and talking in his sleep for the 2 minutes he’ll manage to stay asleep before the pain wakes him back up again. But it can only get better from here. No one will be MESSING with it until the 16th, so hopefully it will start to feel better. In the meantime I’m going to snag some food and a shower.
