#ROW80 Check-In and G.I.T. Update

Well I confess, this morning there was no Dark and Early.  There was no exercise.  There was no…anything.  I woke up with a splitting headache, took some drugs and went back to bed for a couple more hours.  I’m about to go in to work now.  Just polishing off my tea, so I thought I’d type up a quick update.

BEFORE this morning, things were going quite well.

Per ROW80: Sunday: 428, Monday: 767, Tuesday: 888.  On Sunday I also finished my read through and figured a few things out regarding some holes that had been plaguing me.  I’m definitely back in the groove of things, so very happy on that front.

Regarding Operation G.I.T., I am down a pound and a half, despite numerous dietary indiscretions.  So I’m very happy on that front as well.  I’m back down into the next tens.  Barely, but psychologically it’s huge.  So I’m very motivated to maintain and add to that loss.  7.5 pounds to go to get back to last year’s low.

That’s it for today.  I’m running way behind.

  1. I can relate to waking up with headaches like that. Dark and Early just can’t happen with that kind of pain.

    You’ve inspired me so much that I’m getting on the treadmill every morning. I have my New U for the Wii, but I haven’t looked at it yet. Because that would involve…you know…actually doing it. LOL

  3. I’m a migraineur, so I can SO empathize with waking up with a splitting headache. And no one expects you to be productive with that kind of pain. 😉 Hope it’s getting better.

    As for me…didn’t make it to posting an update Sunday or today. Home life, blah blah blah. 😉

  4. Some days you just don’t want to write! I slept in on Sunday and said to myself, “Screw my word count, I’ll make it up later!”

  5. Hope you feel better! I forgot to set my alarm last night and woke two hours later than usual. OOPS. And here I really wanted to get up at dawn to see those planets lined up on the eastern horizon (read about it in the paper the other day). We’ll see what happens tomorrow…

  7. Headaches suck – I’ve suffered from migraines since being a kid. Hope you’re feeling better now.

    Oh and well done on losing the weight…I lost a couple of pounds recently but put them back on again after attacking a pizza, garlic bread and reverted to my daily dose of chocolate…sigh…
