Veronica Mars Movie Kickstarter: OMG FLAIL

We interrupt our regularly scheduled single post a day for IMPORTANT BREAKING NEWS!

I can’t remember if I’ve ever talked about Veronica Mars on the blog here.  It’s this amazing, wonderful, fabulous show from Rob Thomas, of which we got 3 seasons before the CW unwisely canned it.  This show is so full of awesome.  It’s Buffy meets Nancy Drew (sans paranormal anything) to create a kick ass, smart as hell girl detective for a new generation (played by Kristen Bell).  This is perfect storytelling, folks.  SO SO GOOD.

We fans are rabid.  And we’ve been left hanging.

BUT THERE IS HOPE.  Rob Thomas, Kristen Bell, and other actors from the show have created a Kickstarter project for a Veronica Mars MOVIE.

I cannot express to you how much fangirl flailing I am doing right now.

GO PLEDGE.  There’s cool stuff you get at each level, and you’re only charged the cost of the pledge IF they actually reach their funding level.  Yes, $2,000,000 is a lot of money to raise from fans.  But in the time it’s taken me to write this post, it’s jumped from $8k, to nearly $20k.

This could so happen.
