Well, my awning project was a total bust. Too much wind. The grommets ripped right on out. So it’s back to the drawing board on that.
The writing has been going well. I finally filled in a two part scene that’s been giving me fits for the last few weeks and am moving forward chronologically again (certainly my preference). I’ve logged nearly 3k since Sunday. Hoping to knock out another couple of chapters before I leave town next Wednesday.
I have day passes to the RT Convention on Thursday and Friday. Who’s gonna be there? Since I’ve got several hours of driving to and from, I anticipate some good plotting time on…something. I’ve got at least 2 Meet Cutes kicking around in my brain, the Mirus plot bunny. And Wishful is never far from my mind.
I’ve been doing a lot of data entry at the EDJ. Which means I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks the last week or so. Been plowing through books 8 and 9 in Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series. They’re light, fun reads. One thing that does happen when you get these whole back to back reads is that stuff like glaring errors in timeline are…well GLARING. There’s a really significant contradiction in book 9 about events in books 7 and 8. I thought the first time it was mentioned it might’ve been a typo, but no. It’s a really good reminder for WHY WE NEED SERIES BIBLES. And timelines of events in our series. I should really do that before I get more than two stories in Wishful…and go back and do it for Mirus…

The wind has been terrible here too! Can’t get anything done outside.
