- THE END. That should probably be the most important part of this progress report. I finished the first draft of Wish I Might yesterday. I’m going to let it sit a week or few while I sort out some other things, letting it settle before I do a read through and make my first pass revisions before sending off to The Pink Hammer.
- This morning I knocked out the outline for my Sooper Seekrit Project Book 1 and got that loaded into Scrivener. It’s closer to ready to start than Something’s Gotta Give, so I’ll be diving into that next while I finish up the outline for SGG. In light of the fact that I’m ready to start drafting, it was exceptionally important to me to do that FROM MY OFFICE.
- So, I evicted hubby back to his man cave today. Got all his guitars hung and built him a new, ridonculous seven foot desk to house all the stuff he had piled on mine. He’ll have to hook all the bits and bobs and cables galore up when he gets home from work, but it is DONE. And he’s got ROOM for all the stuff now.
And I have my nice, neat, organized desk, with a clean workspace. My obsessive compulsive neat freak heart is sighing in relief. On that note, I’m tired and heading to bed!

Congrats on finishing the book! I’ve said it before, but damn girl, you make me tired! Send some of that energy this way! I really do admire your work ethic.
Congrats on finishing the first draft. Such a great feeling. And yay for having your desk back.
YAY! Congrats on the finished draft!
I’m jealous of your neatness. I’m kind of in a chaotic situation. My father-in-law is down sizing his living arrangements. We have inherited a lot of stuff because of this. Some of it is from this week and is awesome and great… Some of it (a dollhouse built by my husband’s late grandfather) has been in my living room blocking half my couch for over a month… Maybe two, perhaps three. Things won’t settle until tomorrow afternoon. One day, maybe, I’ll reclaim my house once again!
Congrats on completing finishing the first draft. Must feel go.
The He and She caves looking wonderful.
Here’s to a great and productive week, Kait!!
