Well I’m finally home from my work conference. Today was the first morning I’ve had to sleep in since last weekend. And it’s back to work tomorrow. 😛
I did finish rereading Tribute by Nora Roberts (which it’s been long enough since I read the first time that I was surprised again by the ending–to the point that when my Zune died on my drive right when the villain showed up, I actually pulled over on the shoulder to get my laptop out of the trunk to charge it off THAT so I could finish!) and start Rescue My Heart by Jill Shalvis. And on my Kindle I finished reading Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi and started The Rising by Kelley Armstrong. I’m not very far into the latter, and so far it hasn’t grabbed me. I think I’m not in the mood for more YA. So I might put that one on the backburner to read later and pick up something else.
I have, of course, absolutely nothing to report on the writing front since I’was gone. That’s on today’s agenda in between a zillion OTHER things that need doing. I’ve got laundry going, need to do my grocery shopping for the week, menu planning, a few other household chores. I need to make a fresh batch of dog food, batch cook whatever I’m eating for lunches this week (something light and vegetarian after all the heavy of eating out for 3 days straight). And I want to blow off the back porch and spray for bugs back there. And fertilize my tomatoes and peppers (the only part of my garden that’s left). And I need to do my workout for the day.
One thing I DON’T have to do is clean the whole house. Hubby did that while I was gone since he hosted Boys’ Night this week. So yay for that.
Just started the second load of launcry, so I’m off to put in my contacts and knock out that workout and other stuff, so that I can SHOWER and get on to the grocery.
