Well the changes I’m making are taking longer than I expected. Which is not a BAD thing in that I will ultimately have more story. Today I only got through the reaction and interpretation of the first phone call from the killer. Tomorrow–the press conference. Then a couple of personal scenes, then another murder. So yeah, an estimate of 2 weeks or so to finish the changes is probably going to be about on target. My total words in manuscript is a bit off at the moment because I’ve got lots of redline place holders describing what I need to put where. I’m erasing those as I add the necessary scenes and changes. It will all even out soon. Anyway, I need to crash early again.
