People! I wrote yesterday!
First time in THREE WHOLE WEEKS.
1566 words on Red, which made me very happy.
I cleared up some plot issues–thanks to Pot and Claire–and had to go back and lay in some details to tie in one of my plot points to later stuff, which meant I needed to rewrite a bit of stuff. I’ve made it all the way up to the scene I knew was gonna have to be totally rewritten. I need to chew a little bit on that scene before I dive in, but I didn’t have the paralyzing page fright I expected, so yay.
I also got all the new azaleas planted. The ground was so loose from the rain that I didn’t even have to use a shovel.
All in all it was a good day. Relaxing.
Today, of course, it’s back to work, back to the norm. I’m good with normal. I’ve been desperate for normal. So it’s back into the deep end of the pool.

Wooohoo huge congrats. Good to hear you are back in the game.
congrats. 1500 + is a great total especially after being away from it for so long. Sometimes no matter what we think of it when we are there, normal is a good place to get back to.
Yay! Kait is back! I’m so glad you were able to get back into writing. And planting azaleas? Spring has truly sprung. Now…time to prune my roses!
Yay you! That’s great.
Sometimes normal feels pretty damn good!
Congrats on getting back into the writing! You beat me today. 300 words only. In my defense, my mind is rather hazy from all the allergies right now. That’s a good excuse, isn’t it? Isn’t it? 😉
*high five from far away*
Woo! Words! Yay!
Woo hoo, Kait! That is fab! Need to get back onto my schedule next week too.
On a side note, do I love the cover for Blindsight? why yes, yes I do . . . A LOT (just downloaded the story today – look forward to reading it 🙂
Robin always does such great work.
Congratulations, that is an impressive word count by any standard. And aren’t azaleas wonderful? I can almost forgive them their pollen.
