It’s Monday. Mondays are, for me, associated with a whole lot of just BLEH. They involve MORNINGS, getting UP, going back to WORK and a whole general slough of ick that leaves me grumpy. So I’m feeling the need for a negativity purge. I figure one of the best means of doing that is through MUSIC, so I’m making a POSITIVITY PLAYLIST! And I need your help to build it. Please leave your favorite perk me up, positive, make you wanna dance tunes in comments, and if you’re so motivated, tell us why you love it!
I started the playlist off with the obvious Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” (because, duh) and Train’s “Hey, Soul Sister”, which came on my Pandora station on the drive to work.
GO!

Let the bodies hit the floor – by Drowning Pool. Consider it demon slaying 😛
A for real suggestion – Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen. How can anyone feel negative with that song going on?
Awesome idea! Okay, let’s see… A lot of songs by The Divine Comedy make me feel like skipping about (I don’t dance). Quite a few off the Casanova album.

Great suggestions here! I’d throw Pharrell’s “Happy” on the list a couple of times more – it’s such a great pick-me-up 🙂
I can’t help smile when I hear “What does the fox say” by Ylvis, simply because it’s so crazy!
Oh Christ no. What does the fox say is the most god awful, annoying song I’ve ever heard.
Hahaha, to each their own 😉
Ooo, also Shatter Me (my authoress anthem) and Moon Trance, both by Lindsey Stirling. How can you not dance to and feel awesome with Lindsey Stirling?
