Let There Be Plot

And the lord God said, “Let there be plot.”  And there was plot.  And it was good.

Despite the fact that I had no new words to add to my progress bar, I had an EXTREMELY productive weekend.  I finished plotting out Revelation it its entirety, with the exception of one background detail.  I is pleased.  It looks like it’s going to come out somewhere around 75-80k, so definitely full-length novel.  I’m hoping to have it out by the end of the year.

I sat down to figure it.  I finished Forsaken by Shadow at the end of January.  February was the all about beta readers and revisions.  March was filled with the leg break itself,  caretaking, and releasing of Forsaken By Shadow.  It was beginning of April when I figured out I had the wrong hero.  It took me 7 weeks to plot out the new book, during which time I wrote approximately 26k words for my blog tour, 9k on the actual book, and juggled my usual stuff plus the extra that’s fallen to me due to the leg break incident.  I officially no longer feel like a slacker.

Speaking of Forsaken By Shadow, I got a truly awesome review at Black Sun Reviews.

In tour news, today I am hanging out with Nicole Peeler, talking about the Dreaded Valley of the Shadow of the Middle.

Don’t forget you can get a FREE review copy and be entered into a contest to win a $10 Amazon gift card if you’ll take the time to leave me a review!

  1. Yay for new, fleshed out plots! Congrats. 🙂

I have Forsaken by Shadow, and will post a review as soon as I get it read.

Of all the things you may or may not be, a slacker is not one of them. 😉

    1. Aw thanks! I often have these really high expectations of myself and what I want to accomplish, and this year feels like I’ve been totally derailed on that front. But hey, moving forward!
