The results from the MRI are back and she had a Fibrocartilaginous Embolism – FCE–so basically a spinal stroke. This was the diagnosis that we were hoping for, as it means NO SURGERY. With time and physical therapy, she’s expected to make a pretty full recovery.
We are SO SO SO SO SO RELIEVED.
It’ll be at least a week before she’s recovered enough to come home, but we’ll be able to go see her on a regular basis. I’m taking her some chicken and rice tomorrow.
Oh my baby’s gonna be okay. Gotta go cry happy tears now.
